Aleksandra Ehrensvärd
Glass Art and Design
Aleksandra Ehrensvärd is a glass artist from Estonia, currently living and working in Stockholm, Sweden.
Aleksandra obtained an MA degree in design and applied art in the department of glass art at the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2015. After graduating, she worked and taught in Olustvere Glassblowing Studio and was a guest glassblowing master at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
In her artistic practice, Aleksandra is dedicated to glass blowing. Her artwork is mainly sculptural.
Ehrensvärd has participated in exhibitions in Estonia and abroad as well as taken part in glassblowing residencies in USA and Europe, including Pilchuck Glass School. Since 2014 she is a member of the Estonian Glass Artists' Union, and she is one of the three designers in MSK Glass bränd. Since 2020 Aleksandra is running the studio Stockholms Glasbruk together with her husband glass artist Martin Ehrensvärd.
